About Marianna
Marianna is a seasoned professional with over fifteen years’ experience in business and organizational development, including financial systems integration and management.
Early in her career, Marianna served as Associate Director of FIU’s Center for International Business where she engaged members of academia, community and business leaders in seminars focusing on international business affairs. She developed the Center’s graduate study-abroad program with universities in Brazil and Chile, all while managing the Center’s funding needs. Most notably, her grant writing efforts successfully secured the renewal of CIBER’s funding by the U.S. Department of Education.
Marianna combined her education in finance and information systems and spent over a decade implementing enterprise-wide financial systems, effecting change management processes within organizations, and overseeing budgets in the tens of millions of dollars.
Most recently, Marianna worked for a Catholic school within the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston, where she was responsible for the school’s admissions, enrollment, and advancement efforts; financial management oversight (projections, forecasting, historical analysis); and information systems platforms including the student information system and tuition management software.
Marianna is a bi-lingual, native speaker of both the Spanish and English languages, enjoys collaborating with people at all levels of an organization, and takes great care in prioritizing a client’s needs.
Marianna is most proud of her family; married for eighteen years to her husband, Steve, they have two beautiful daughters, Scarlett and Sophia, in addition to three female dogs, outnumbering Steve in the household.
